In this course, we learned about the importance of cultural critic and engagement. The cultural critique must address the implicit relationship between the means of mass communication, the political, economic and social structures. Our communication becoming saturated by the society, the marketing interest, the advertising around us. The role of the future designer is to be involved as a mediator. The design should be more social positioning. As a designer, we have to think more outside of the commercial use. 

For my project about the routine, I had to have some knowledge about I want to critique. I was talking about the routine of everybody, was kind of the same each day. We want to show how easily we are losing meaning in what we do. Tasks are more and more performed out of habit rather than purpose, which can be compared to robots or machines that have been programmed to perform and not think. Our goal is for students or anyone to reflect on their repetitive routines that have in some way defined and framed us since we were born. Our routines have changed with time but the fact remains that we cannot seem to find a balance and this is an issue most of us have yet to resolve.

For my project about the social media, I learned how to communicate an idea, an opinion through a visual project. It permits me to explore my skills in the communication way. I really like to do this project because I developed a new knowledge. I never did before the design of an application, so It was challenging for me. Overall, this project permits to analyze more the actual society and to imagine the future could be. It's really important for a designer to think about the future and try to find solution or alternative to have a better world. The best way is to critique because it allows a discussion and debate.
