My visual essay is a critic of the social media more precisely Linkedlin and Instagram. I wanted to show how sometimes, in the social media, you show something in your life but it’s not really true, it’s not the reality. I think the society push you to show your life in the social media to be integrated into the society. Now, if you don't have Facebook, or on Instagram or LinkedIn, you are excluded from the society.
For these reasons, I wanted to imagine the possible future with this logic. A future media social, a future application for everybody. I was focused more on the content than the design of the application. So this a business application, for people who want a job. My essay is more like a humourist and ironic than real.
So now you download the application,
You click on a sign in, put your information.
After, you have to upload a profile picture of you. Serious one (very important).

So this is the profile of Aude, of you. Lots of information on it.
You can see on the top, the followers, the following, the description, the age, the level of your profile (very important) etc.
Next to your photo, you can see 5 criteria, I did some research, and this is the criteria to be hired, the most important qualities for an employee. And after each criteria, you can see stars.
The person who you follow (company, friends, etc.) can vote in your picture on this 5 different criteria about their judgment. The more you are well voted, you are more popular, the more you upgrade your profile, the more you have the chance to get your dream job
After 5 minutes, you can see, you won a lot of good votes.

The application suggest you post to another picture to upgrade your profile
For this one, you posted a picture of you in the library. She said : « I discovered a new library with my friends Samantha, it was amazing. »
Your followers gave you good grades because the picture reflects a good motivation (to go to the library), a good communication with a good picture of you, good work in teams (because you work with your friend). And you have good comments
The companies can contact you directly in your application or you can do it yourself into the apply. Depending on your level, you can have access to apply for a job. For example : now, you can apply for HM and Forever 21 because you are level 2. If you want to apply for Zara, you must be at level fifty or with Dior, must be at level five hundred levels.
Little advice here :
Want to have more opportunities ? Show you are athletic.
But now, you don't post a « pretty picture » for the follower, because you are natural, no make up, you are red after the sport. So you don't have a good grade and bad comments.
So now, you are panicked, you post a picture of you to cook some potatoes and duck . Like the last picture, you lose again followers and have bad comments, because you don’t eat « healthy », you show your real routine and followers find an excuse do not like your post.
Finaly your account is deactivated because you do not correspond to the social media criteria.
And you account can be reactivated just in 2 years.
